BORN AGAIN

dude how long has it been since i have updated this blog/even done anything graphic design-y??? too long i guess. these last few months have been a total whirlwind + i dont wanna get cosmic BUT this period feels like its the start of a rebirth after my untimely DEATH!!! the holidays were so chaotic but SO good. nic + me made up 50 cdrs + packaging from scratch for axel rosie o'donnells next release which is a split with nics brother bens band red red krovvy who slay!!!!! i will post some photos of them when i get my hands on a few copies. ANYWAY so this is the beginning of 2007 part 2!!! i drew this yesterday + coloured it today. its for a band that i made up axe wounds to give me someone/a purpose to make stuff for.

im so sick of this whole "celebrity" thing that were living in at the moment where everything is about celebrity and everyone wants to be famous. and famous people on this whole superstar trip like "fuck yeah im famous bitch! im out of control man check me out!!! bad boy man!", so i drew this.

alright so these are some of the logos i made up during my work experience time. these ones are some of the bunch that i made up on the first day for my travel blog.com.au

the man didnt like any of those though, so i made up the new one, which you will see beneath here in the header i made for the website (also for some reason the main nav bar had to fade out??? it was like something to do with the scripting or style sheet or something... i dunno, programming is outta my league.)

i dont need this corporation attitude

im going home to cairns this afternoon so i figured i better put SOMETHING up because all next week im doing work experience i.e probably wont do much stuff (the place im working at asked me to come in at 8 a.m on monday!!! FUCKED!!!)

SO this is an assignment for uni ive been avoiding. its a corporate identity for north queensland tourism (we're not allowed to abbrieviate the name!!!) like logo + business cards + letterheads + livery. i hate doing corporate identities for dumb things like tourism. anyway so this is the car design i did last night.



i have better/more interesting stuff to put up but i need to get on a scanner, so like... in a week i'll put that stuff up.
