finally things have sorta calmed down at the house and ive been able to start actually doing stuff. im feeling really productive lately! sydney has been good for making me feel like doing stuff. i decided im gonna do a whole bunch of stuff black and white. get back to basics??? i dunno. not having a full time job has been good for freeing up drawing time but srsly need that paper son???

I KNOW RAP MY MAN I MEAN HIP HOP

this is an interactive kiosk thing i made last year. basically for the brief we had to make something educational for an audience that was also a flash game. so i made this, its got a brief history of hiop hop and a dj sampler. i cut up a bunch of music and made some loops and basically you lay down the bass line and then build over the top of that with the cut up samples. the dj sampler also has like hidden animations. oh and when you turn from page to page in the book the hand comes on and turns the page and then the new page animates. this was pretty intense and i ran out of time to focus on the typography and stuff on the pages next to the actual animating stuff.
